Mercatech Small-Cap Equity Fund LLC offers holders of domestic securities an alternative to traditional margin lending. The Fund operates as a closed-end, non-diversified management company. The Fund is exempt from registration under Section 3c(1) of the Investment Company Act of 1940, as amended (the “1940 Act”), and is commonly referred to as a “hedge fund”. The Fund offers Accredited Investors the ability to access leverage, retain upside stock gain, limit downside protection and fix both the loan term and the interest rate on asset-backed loans based on medium- and small-capitalization equity holdings.
